Pooled human retroplacental blood.Material was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HCV, HIV-1and 2 antibodies, HCV antibodies, and syphilis.
Composition:
Heterotetrameric complex, consisting of PAPP-A and pro-MBP subunits (PAPP-A/proMBP complex).
Applications:
Calibrator or standard for htPAPP-A or dPAPP-A assays. PAPP-A can be used for in vitro testing of Down syndrome and other fetal disorders.
Immunological activity:
Immunological activity has been tested with monoclonal antibodies specific to PAPP-A.
Purification:
Ion-exchange chromatography, affinity chromatography, gel-filtration and negative immunoaffinity chromatography.
Presentation:
Lyophilized from solution in 10 mM Tris-HCl, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 7.5.Product is recommended to reconstitute with distilled water.
Storage Conditions:
-20 °C (between -15 and -30 °C allowed)
